New Year

​New Years is a celebration of the first day of the year on the Gregorian calendar. Based on the pattern of the sun’s movements, this contrasts Lunar New Years which is a celebration based upon the lunar calendar. Although a traditionally western holiday, Chinese people also celebrate New Years, in addition to Lunar New Years.
